The answer to yesterday's "More Dirty Minds" was HAIR. Here are the clues for today:
- You have to deal with me once a month.
- When I'm overdue, you get worried.
- Since you have a pad, you've got me.

As always, THINK CLEANLY and HAPPY GUESSING! xD
I FEEL SO UN-ASIAN...

So the other day, while having a nice family lunch at home, we were all sitting around the table grubbin on some Dim Sum that my dad had bought after work. Everything was fine until i was looking around and I realized that out of the four of us, I was the ONLY one using a FORK.
::GASPS::
the rest of the family was using chopsticks, the preferred choice of utensil for grubbin on Dim Sum.
I jokingly brought up my observation, and my mom started saying stuff about how we're losing our culture and how our kids are not going to be able to communicate with them [the parents] because we're not going to teach em chinese and what not.. =
Blah, I hate how my mom starts stuff by saying things like that. But then again, I know it's true too.. gah..
HEY LOOK, IT'S A WRITING
3 MONTH OLD! @_@
My sister with the famous 'writing kiddio' Madisen...
Here's her little note, enclosed with another pic from the banquet thing..

she was probably holding the baby with her left arm, and then writing with her right hand! haha...
is the dirty minds thing "rent"? i honestly don't think periods are dirty...but i guess you wouldn't talk to a kid about periods so it's semi-dirty
haha your mom should have slapped more culture in to ya jk! aww thats a cute lil baby!!!!!
thanx im happy to be back!
im way to addicted to xanga lol
So you can speak Chinese?
my parents always criticize me and my brother's lack of spokern Chinese. Oh well!
YEAH! my family does the same exact thing..[what other family doesn't? white people don't have to worry about it though] but yeah in my mind i know it's true because i don't always speak Vietnamese when i should be. It's just quicker. ::shrugs:: i'm working on it though. :goodjob:
tis ok mister eric...i understand
and btw...you're the NICER ONE! haha.
damn...someone has crappy writing. hehe
my dad is all about that with arabic @.@
they say one cannot lie with two cultures...it's just impossible...you're either dedicated to one or the other. damn social science. it's kinda weird if you think about it. i mean, it's not YOUR culture, it's your parents culture. culture -- difficult to define in the first place -- is one's hmm...actions/beliefs/values/mores in a society. before i get too technical, i just want to tell you that i just read two sociology chapters. hehe....don't think i know this crap offhand O_O
byebye....procrastinator!
lie=live
damn typos... :sleepy:
credit card bills!!
And about your mom saying that, I mean it's true, right? If no oneelse says it, then who would be our reminder?
That baby is sooOoO cute!
