  THANKSGIVING….

  
  

  was about two days ago, and judging from most of ya’ll ‘s entries ya’ll had a pretty good time.

  
  

  Good to say, I had a pretty good one as well..

  
  

  Unfortunately…

  
  

  - My parents had to work on the day of Thanksgiving, so we decided to have our [non]traditional Thanksgiving dinner on wednesday (instead of thursday). 

  
  

  - My sister couldn’t get back to frisco on wednesday night, so she missed out on our feist.

  
  

  - I had reminded Desiree to bring her camera, but I had forgotten to check the batteries on mines, so i ended up using my cell phone as a camera.  And, this year was much more solemn than years past [for personal reasons], so I didn’t get too many pics taken either [from the parentals at least] …

  - Since my sister wasn’t there, I got to be in charge of the little hooligans.

  So yeah, Thanksgiving dinner was pretty simple i guess.. Good food and got to hang with the kiddies that I rarely get to see.

  OMG, I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT HAPPENED…

  
  

  So yesterday around 9:30PM while I was in the shower [xangans: ewww... THANKS for the IMAGERY! o_o .. </sarcasm>  ] my sister busts into the restroom [we rarely lock the restroom door while in it (except for my sister) ]

  
  

  “CRYSTAL IS COMING OVER WE’RE GOING TO BLOCKBUSTER GO PRINT OUT YOUR FREE VOUCHERS SHE’LL BE HERE IN LIKE 5 MINUTES“

  
  

  After taking about 10 seconds for my slow and feeble brain to fully comprehend and process the data, I ended my shower as abruptly as I could, changed and printed the coupons.  Crystal was waiting outside for all of about 5 minutes.

  
  

  I’ve never met this girl before, but she’s alright with my sis.  they were supposed to hang out earlier yesterday, but didn’t get a chance to, so they decided to go get some movies to watch.

  
  

  I think i’ve never been that ackward in my life before.  We hop into crystal’s car.  Right then my sister’s cell rings. She answers.  Crystal was already on the cell, and in a few moments, she had ended her phone call.  She gave me this weird look..

  
  

  Me: Hi, I’m Eric ::brings hand out to shake her hand::

  
  

  Crystal:  Wow, when Cathleen said younger bro I didn’t expect you ::shakes hand slightly::

  
  

  we kinda talked a little, and I couldn’t wait for my sister to get off the phone, so she could talk to HER friend…

  
  

  We got to blockbuster and we looked around.. we finally ended up getting Fahrenheit 9/11 and Dopamine..

  
  

  While standing in line, I remember that I had a coupon off of my blockbuster-online flap for a bucket of popcorn and a 2-liter soda for $2.49. 

  
  

  Me:  ::looks at crystal:: would ya gals like popcorn or soda?

  
  

  Crystal:  I don’t eat popcorn.. I’m more of a tofu person.. yeah..

  
  

  Flabbergasted, I decided not to say anything else.  I let my sister and her do all the talking with each other.. @_@

  
  

   

  
  

  When we get back to the house, we started to watch Fahrenheit 9/11..

  
  

  About 10 minutes into the movie…

  
  

  Crystal:  Wait a sec… this movie is a bush-basher?!?

  
  

  Me: Yeah..

  
  

  Crystal: OMG…

  
  

  Sister: You’re a republican?

  
  

  Crystal: Yeah.. I like Bush, I hate democrats.. spend too much money, too many taxes… [some other stuff but i forgot]

  
  

  Sister: When’d you become a republican?

  
  

  Crystal: I’ve always been a republican..But both my parents are democrats..

  
  

  Sister and Me:  ::thinking in head:: oh crap…

  
  

  Me:  I have SuperSize Me, if you want to see that instead..

  
  

  Crystal and Sister:  sure…

  
  

   

  
  

  Oh my god, I didn’t expect that to have occurred.  She herself thought it would have been a good movie, since she heard a lot of good things about it.  Appearantly, she didn’t look at the box, and just went blindly to go rent it because everybody said it was a good movie..

  
  

  2 Libs + 1 Rep + watch Fahrenheit 9/11 = big Uh Oh.. @_@

  
  

  Thank goodness I had substitutes at home, or else it have not been a good night…

  
  

  Ended up watching SuperSize Me

  
  

  Was pretty good for them, because both seemed pretty Anti-Fast Food, and after watching it, it made them both even more anti-fast food…

  
  

   

  
  

  And as for the bucket of popcorn, I had it all to myself..

  
  

   

  
  

  Yeah, didn’t really do anything worthwhile this weekend, but that’s okay. 
  Twas liberating to have taken all my exams before break, so I don’t have a care in the world…
