Anyways, so here's the story:
My mom had washed a bunch of grapes like four or five days ago, and seeing that the weather didn't seem too warm, we thought that it would be alright it we just left them outside, since we felt that it was cold enough. So these grapes have been sitting in this container, washed, and just lounging around on the kitchen table...
now, fast forward to four or five days later:
Today.
I was itchin' for a quick little snack before dinner.
"hum.. grapes.. yum..."
::grabs some and starts to eat em::
after the third handful, i was totally HORRIFIED.
at what, you may ask?
Yes, them grapes were going bad.
and yes, those arrows are CLEARLY pointing into the direction of some furry sheits that's growing on em.
gross.
Note to self: inspect stuff carefully before eating.
Hey, at least I didn't jump right into it like last time with the pudding.. @_@
err.. licking the lid that is.. =P

FYI: The grapes went bad because you removed the stems..Grapes stay fresher LONGER when you leave the stems on.

note to food eaters
never wash fruits or vegetables when you are not READY to prepare to cook them.
extra moisture on fruits and veges raises up the "AW" which is the water in the air measurement, and allows for faster decay of food matters.
wash it when your'e going to eat it.
