The answer to yesterday’s “Dirty Minds” was TASTE. Here are the clues for today:
- I’m sometimes a tight fit.
- People put their tools in me.
- I have to be open for you to park it in me.
As always, THINK CLEANLY and HAPPY GUESSING

Thoughts of the Day:
SOMETIMES, FRIENDS JUST CAN’T SEEM…
…TO GET ALONG…
Example #1:
Friend #1:

and here’s friend #2:

When alone or with their own kinds, they are really cool. But put them together, and you get one NASTY ASS coffee. I had my first experience with this “splenda” on Friday when my supervisor gave me some to try out for my coffee at home. I got used to the “diet sugars” from work, so regular granulated sugar just doesn’t cut it.
::FLASHBACK::
On friday my “supervisor” Helen brought me a box of “splenda” individually packaged fake sugar. I tried it with the “taster’s choice” coffee that has been sitting in her drawers for gawd knows how long. It started out okay, but halfway through my cup i started tasting some wierd stuff.. So I tasted the sugar by itself, and it seemed alright. I forced my two “supervisors” to try it out by itself too, since they had it in their coffee before and loathed it. take a look at how it looks:

IT’S CRACKERIFIC!!

So, I sat there, sitting on Helen’s floor.. opening them small packets of “Splenda”, and licking it up. Started laughing senselessly and pretended to be snorting it..
Aurora: YO ERIC! YOU NEED A STRAW?
Me: SURE!
~~5 Minutes Later~~
Aurora: Here ya go! ::hands me a straw::
Me: hehe ::devious smirk::
::END OF FLASHBACK::
anyways, back to my story.. I tried out the splenda with my Nescafe instant coffee that I’ve gotten used to, and I added some splenda into it.
RESULTS OF SAMPLE TEST: NASTY COFFEE.
CONCLUSION: While the box claims splenda is good for baking, DO NOT put it into your coffee…unless you want a bitter/sour/funky aftertaste.
oh yeah, and NO. I did NOT snort splenda ::whips splenda off from powdered nose::
RAIN CAN DAMPEN PEOPLE’S SPIRITS
You people out there are probably thinking ::DUH:: but yeah, i have noticed that when it’s gloomy outside everybody seems to be more gloomy. The history class seems more boring, the campus looks pretty dead, and I heard and saw a few verbal confrontations. And damn drivers don’t even look, i swear they tend to drive FASTER when it rains and are less careful.
MUNI: Many UnNecessary Inconveniences
It seems that if MUNI is never on time. It seems particularily true when its rainy. My usual 18 came seven whole minutes early. Yes, that’s right. EARLY. So I couldn’t take that bus. I waited about 10 minutes before the next L-taraval came and not only was it a one car, it was also late. And i swear, it stopped at EVERY stop, and each stop and Caned people. Its so aggrivating…it only seems to happen when you are in a rush. Finally got to 19th Avenue after the 20 minute bus ride that was supposed to take less than 15, and then took the PACKED 28 to state. Made it to class with one minute to spare. And, somebody took the seat next to Man-Hater, so I faced my beating after class..[well, not really a beating, but sorta.. haha]
TESTS TESTS TESTS
I’m having so many tests this week i swear I’ll have another TESTE. haha..corny joke.. But yeah, three quizzes this week on three things I have absofuckinlutely no idea about. I think i did pretty bad on my astronomy [lab] class quiz, and I’ll prolle BOMB my astronomy [lecture] class quiz tomorrow. And damn, i have to catch up on hella reading for my psychology class for the 50 question test on Friday. Damnit.
err…why am I still on xanga? beats the hell out of me.
okay, going to start “studying” now.

Til Tomorrow
